By disabling the platform's controls and sabotaging its power core, the two are able to maneuver it into a collision course with the central tower, sealing the wormhole and returning Earth's temperatures back to normal. With the Chimera's chief advantage gone, human resistance groups around the world move to exterminate the Chimera and begin rebuilding all their nations. Capelli, meanwhile, is reunited with his wife and son, finally at peace with himself.

Leaving Malikov in a safe place, Capelli eventually meets with a local resistance group called the "Remnants" who were defending their VTOL from a Chimeran patrol. Capelli is led back to their hideout, and he finds Malikov was brought back in a bad state. Malikov's wound is infected, no doubt from the environment, and is in need of medical aid. The Remnants' leader, Charlie Tent, agrees to help them in return of acquiring a power core from a Chimeran dropship to power their VTOL aircraft. Malikov is given medicine as a condition for Capelli's aid. Although their ambush goes awry, due to multiple Chimera patrols arriving and the sudden intrusion of a feral Widowmaker attracted by the chaos, they still manage to capture the power core. Charlie and his pilot Ellis give Capelli and Malikov a ride to New York.
At the ending, Capelli is seen reunited with Susan and Jack. During the closing credits, numerous resistance groups report from all over the Earth, reporting their successes against the Chimeran forces. They are followed by several optimistic pictures (such as the rebuilding of Statue of Liberty and New York city) implying that humanity have finally won the war against the Chimera and are now rebuilding the world and their civilization.
Resistance 3 is a first-person shooter set in the alternative version of 1950's. Earth is being scourged by Chimera species, originally evolved from virus stricken humans. Insomniac please fix this as I'm having a hard time getting myself to play this game with such a terrible fixed reticle zoomed aiming. Wow wow after having such great success with move in KZ3 I really can't go back to playing with a dual shock 3. The fixed reticle has ruined resistance 3 for me. Fix now and fix quick please.

Sulfated laminarin (PS3) has been shown previously to be an elicitor of plant defense reactions in tobacco and Arabidopsis and to induce protection against tobacco mosaic virus. Here, we have demonstrated the efficiency of PS3 in protecting a susceptible grapevine cultivar (Vitis vinifera cv. Marselan) against downy mildew (Plasmopara viticola) under glasshouse conditions. This induced resistance was associated with potentiated H2O2 production at the infection sites, upregulation of defense-related genes, callose and phenol depositions, and hypersensitive response-like cell death. Interestingly, similar responses were observed following P. viticola inoculation in a tolerant grapevine hybrid cultivar (Solaris). A pharmacological approach led us to conclude that both callose synthesis and jasmonic acid pathway contribute to PS3-induced resistance. 041b061a72
